Countdown to total insanity.
I took the first of 10 Clomid pills about 30 minutes ago. I should remain quasi-normal until Wednesday. I will then be absolutely psychotic until Sunday. This is very bad for several reasons.
Reason the first–We are going to a wedding on Saturday.
Reason the second–This wedding requires Patrick and I to be trapped in a car for 5 hours
Reason the third–Our destination is his parents house.
This timing leads to another inconvenient scheduling conflict.
(too much information warning…)
I will be ovulating right about when both his parents AND mine show up on our doorstep to help us build this new deck (and really…tell me…WHOSE idea was a 750 square foot deck? Oh…mine? Huh…sorry).
This is the LAST attempt at the Clomid route. I am almost willing to admit that more drastic measures are going to be necessary to provide me a take home baby. And because I’m quite scared of the Clomid that I bought online from Thailand that is sitting on my dresser.

I have a feeling that you are going to do fine this weekend. Don’t even think about the possibility for hormonal weirdness, because I don’t think it will happen.
I wish you all the best of God’s blessing on you, your ovaries, and whatnot.

Oh no, NOT CLOMID! Having had 8 cycles on it in my life, 6 of them at 100 mg, and none of them successful, I can totally feel your pain. Patrick has my complete empathy as well. Those 5 hours in the car…bring a lot of snacks. I don’t know about you, but Clomid always makes me ravenous.
Then again, this cycle I’m finding that Femara also makes me ravenous. There’s no winning, I tell you.
Good luck with the deck building. I may have missed it, but do your families know about your fertility treatments? Just curious.

Did you buy that Clomid pre or post coup? You never know what a good old fashioned military coup can do to the pharmacutical blackmarket.
Come on ovaries.
Look at it this way, at least you can make it exciting. Like “Ooooh Patrick, let’s sneak away from all the sweaty people with hammers and get busy.”

Yeah, I agree, snacks are a roadtrip necessity. I usually opt for Diet Mountain Dew, Cheetoes and chocolate covered espresso beans. However, be careful to not flip off state troopers after eating said snacks (I totally blame the espresso beans) because they don’t really like overly-caffeinated New Yorkers driving through their towns… However, I digress… Um, basically, good luck and I’ll be thinking about you.

Looks like I picked an interesting time to get back into the blogging world! Good luck with this recent round of Clomid and tell Patrick our prayers will be with him.
Hehe! Perhaps if you get really out of control he can lure you back to the world of the sane with a shoe shopping adventure! Always work on me. Haha!

I hope that the Clomid kicks your ovaries into gear and that this will be your month:)

Oh, boy. Warn the in-laws up front about the drugs, and then you can be TOTALLY rude all wekend and they’ll think you can’t help it. You don’t have to bite your tongue, and no one will be offended. The potential for fun is HIGH.

Oh. my. I’ll be watching CNN all weekend to make sure there isn’t some sort of incident with an insane housewife on a killing spree.

So you’ll be hyperpsychotic and you have to have sex? All I can say is good luck! Seriously, I wish you all the luck in the world.

I am wishing you luck on your mission to become impregnated!
