…Kids is the one movie that I have watched - and with my high school friends - that I wish I never had. Disturbing. More disturbing than any ‘crazy, cut ‘em up’ movies. Am trying to wash that out of my mind as I type….

I never understood the attraction to Natural Born Killers. Even 10 years ago it seemed as though it glorified a violent, bloody lifestyle I didn’t identify with.

I think I saw that movie… isn’t one of the opening scenes at a party where someone gives a girl the date-rape drug and she gets raped? I haven’t seen it in years either and I want to watch it again now… just to see if I think the same as you. Threesome is one that I loved in high school and now just makes me snort at its ridiculousness.

It’s amazing how our perspectives change as we get older. I have done the same thing with book and movies. I think we build things up to better than they actually are in our mind.

I netflixed Kids a couple of months ago, it was definately not the way I remembered it. I lasted about 30 minutes before I put it back in the mailbox. Slums of Beverly Hills is one of my all time favorites.
